Automatic Insertion Machine (PCB)

Automatic Insertion Machine (PCBA) is an automated system designed to feed, position, and insert electronic components onto PCB/PWB boards according to pre-programmed locations. The system utilizes a transfer mechanism, vacuum suction tools, and conveyor systems to ensure fast, accurate, and stable operations.

The equipment is suitable for electronic manufacturing lines requiring high precision, including electronic components, household appliances, control boards, and 3C products (Computer, Communication, and Consumer Electronics).

Key Advantages of Automatic Insertion Machine

Implementing an automatic component insertion machine provides numerous benefits for electronics manufacturers:

High Assembly Accuracy. The system utilizes an XYZ transfer unit combined with vacuum suction tools to position components with minimal deviation, ensuring consistent PCB quality.

Automated Production Process. The machine operates automatically from tray feeding and component picking to transferring products onto the insertion conveyor, reducing manual operations and improving production efficiency.

Reduced Labor Requirements. The system minimizes the number of operators required for component assembly while reducing errors caused by manual handling.

Stable Operation and High Productivity. The equipment is capable of continuous operation with a fast cycle time, meeting high-volume production demands in the electronics industry.

Easy Integration into Production Lines. The machine can be integrated with conveyor systems, robots, and SMT/PCB production lines to create a fully automated manufacturing system.

Key System Components

The XYZ transfer system uses vacuum suction tools to pick and position components with high precision. Operating speeds reach 400–500 mm/s, improving processing efficiency while maintaining stable performance.

Operating Process of the Automatic Insertion Machine (PCB)

The system operates automatically through the following sequence:

  1. The lift unit feeds component trays into the machine one by one.
  2. The tray transfer unit moves the tray to the pick-up position.
  3. The XYZ transfer unit uses three vacuum suction tools to simultaneously pick three components and position them at three designated locations.
  4. Once positioning is completed, the components are transferred to the insertion conveyor for the next manufacturing stage.
  5. The transfer unit returns to its initial position and repeats the cycle.
